Working Pattern
The role will operate on a rotational basis. Standard rotations may include:
- 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Longer rotations may also be considered depending on candidate preference and project requirements, for example:
- 3 months on / 1 month off
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- Approximately 60 hours per week
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced crane operators to support temporary projects in Germany. Successful candidates will be deployed across a range of mobile and crawler cranes and will receive training/familiarisation on specific machines where required.
The role is suited to operators with strong experience in heavy lifting, mobile crane operations, and site-based work who are comfortable working on rotation outside their home country.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile and crawler cranes safely and efficiently on site.
- Carry out lifting operations in line with site safety procedures and lift plans.
- Complete daily checks and basic inspections of assigned equipment.
- Work closely with lift supervisors, riggers, site managers, and other crane team members.
- Follow all German site regulations, company procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Support crane setup, movement, and basic operational preparation where required.
- Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes and/or crawler cranes.
- Experience with Liebherr, Grove, Sany, and/or Demag cranes would be highly beneficial.
- Valid crane operating licences/certifications relevant to the equipment operated.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
- Ability to work Monday to Saturday and complete approximately 60 hours per week.
- Willingness to work in Germany on a rotational basis.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of an international project team.
- Basic English or German language skills would be beneficial.
