We are looking for a Quality Engineer to expand our Quality team. This position reports directly to the Quality Leader and is responsible for providing customer and organizational support for quality & regulatory requirements, compliance, and system and process improvements.
This position coordinates root cause and corrective action for the site and will performs quality related activities associated with the nonconforming material control process. The role is proactive in identifying and driving resolution to systemic issues and proposes performance improvements. They will evaluate procedures and work instructions, manage and approve documents that are required per the Quality Management System. Facilitates and represents Quality during internal/external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform routine inspections of products and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Document Inspection Results: Accurately record and maintain detailed reports of quality assessments and findings.
- Assist in Quality Improvement: Support senior quality engineers in implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze Standard Issues: Utilize existing procedures to evaluate quality data and identify recurring problems.
- Maintain Quality Procedures: Follow standardized quality control procedures to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines.

- Problem Solving: Able to apply existing procedures to troubleshoot and resolve routine quality issues.
- Communication: Effective in conveying information clearly and verifying understanding during interactions.
- Quality Standards: Familiar with industry quality standards and able to apply them in daily tasks.
- Reporting: Competent in preparing accurate and timely quality reports for review by senior staff.
- Teamwork: Capable of collaborating with team members to achieve quality goals within standardized processes.
- Time Management: Efficient in managing time to meet quality objectives and project deadlines.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality, engineering, machine shop, assembly or functional testing related experience.
- HND/HNC in Engineering or a Business-related subject, or an aircraft technician or engineer qualification with suitable additional education.
- Demonstrates solid computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Knowledge in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
