Storage Project Manager – BESS | France

We are seeking an experienced Storage Project Manager to support the delivery of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in France. This role is suited to professionals with a strong background in energy storage projects who are comfortable operating in a project management and technical advisory capacity across multiple project phases.

Role overview

• Delivery support for BESS projects from early development through construction and commissioning
• Provision of technical and project-management advisory services to clients and internal teams
• Involvement across procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
• Combination of office-based coordination and site-based project support

Key responsibilities

• Support pre-construction and construction teams on BESS projects
• Contribute to procurement and contractor coordination activities
• Monitor construction progress and quality, producing structured technical and progress reports
• Interface with clients, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Support project delivery in line with schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Required experience & qualifications

• Proven experience working on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
• Ability to operate in a technical advisor / project manager role
• Experience across construction and commissioning phases of energy projects
• Exposure to wind, solar, or other power generation technologies considered an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a consulting or project-delivery environment
