Client Representative – Solar / PV Projects | France

We are seeking an experienced Client Representative to support the construction phase of utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in France, including projects with associated HV and balance-of-plant (BoP) scope. This role is suited to professionals with strong site-based oversight experience acting on behalf of the client during construction execution.

Role overview

• Act as the client’s on-site representative during construction activities
• Monitor construction progress across civil, electrical, BoP, and installation scopes
• Interface with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Provide structured reporting and feedback to the client project team

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to observe construction progress and quality
• Participate in and manage construction and coordination meetings
• Liaise with EPCs, contractors, and local stakeholders on behalf of the client
• Identify risks, delays, or non-conformities and escalate appropriately
• Prepare and submit periodic progress and site observation reports

Required experience & qualifications

• Experience acting in a client-side, resident engineer, or site-oversight role
• Background in solar PV construction projects; exposure to HV or substations considered an advantage
• Proven experience with BoP, civil works, and electrical installation activities
• Strong understanding of construction site processes and contractor coordination
• Ability to work independently with limited on-site presence where required
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Professional working proficiency in French (mandatory)
