Crane Assistants / Crane Riggers
Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Crane Assistants and Crane Riggers to join our team for exciting projects in Europe, South Africa, and South America.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, secure, and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, chains, and cables, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Assemble and disassemble structural components for crane operations, following established guidelines.
- Effectively direct crane operators via hand and radio signals to safely transport and position heavy materials as required by project specifications.
- Work as part of a diverse team, actively collaborating to achieve common goals with a strong focus on inclusion and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Experience in crane rigging and/or crane assisting, including familiarity with cranes such as LTM 1100 and LTM 1500.
- Proficiency in utilizing, preparing, and inspecting rigging equipment like slings, chains, and cables.
- Competence in providing clear and effective signals to crane operators.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices related to crane operations.
