Project Engineer for Power Transformer/Shunt Reactor

We wish to employ a Project Engineer for developing solutions, monitoring the quality compliance, and innovation of the engineering in our products.
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical communications and discussions with customers across the entire business value chain, using your technical skills for tendering, sales, project execution, and after-sales services.
  • Provide technical support to our sales and project management departments during tender and quotation processes in order to secure orders.
  • Review and analyze customer technical specifications and coordinate with the factory to prepare technical documentations and drawings according to customer specifications, as well as international and local standards.
  • Review technical documentation, such as Design Review documents, mechanical drawings, schematic drawings, and test reports.
  • Consult with the factory to ensure that technical documentation aligns with customer requirements and recommend any necessary revisions.
  • Ensure that results and deliverables are delivered to customers on time.
  • Participate in the investigation of technical issues on-site and contribute to the establishment of procedures and corrective actions.
  • Complete tasks assigned by your leader in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical standards
 

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in power transformer engineering, electrical equipment engineering, or power systems.
  • Additional experience with other products such as Shunt Reactors and Special Transformers is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of design.
  • Familiarity with high voltage transformer principles and manufacturing knowledge, as well as relevant technical and manufacturing standards, design and manufacturing processes, equipment and facility status, and installation procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and process problems.
  • Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and associated tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a worldwide, multicultural technical team.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
